Bmth 5 is not a secretive or exclusive club and neither is it a business networking club. We are simply a group of like minded men following some guiding principles to enjoy each others “fellowship” and at the same time help the local community. Typically tablers are business owners, managers or professionals, between the ages of 25 and 45 but we have tablers from all walks of life.

 We are the fifth table to have been started in the UK and as such have a lot of activities that are steeped in tradition but at the same time we are forward looking and maintain a healthy balance of modern and traditional occasions. Also very important to the value of being a member of Bmth 5 is the close links we have with other Tables in the local area, we are part of Area 48 – www.area48.org.uk and as a result get to meet a lot of other people in the area.

 We're all busy people, and so we don't take on events that would occupy a lot of time. We have two meetings each month on alternating Monday evenings, meeting at 6:45 for 7:15. We alternate our meetings between more formal business meetings held at a hotel and more casual meetings at a local entertainment venue. Occasionally we give up a couple of hours on the odd evening or weekend to help run a barbecue or something like that. Often it is possible to bring the kids along if you have them, and kill two birds with one stone.
